We will assist you in finding an alternative or placing a special order to ensure your child has the necessary attire. Additionally, keep in mind that there may be a grace period for new students or those waiting for back-ordered items, allowing your child to attend class in the closest alternative until the proper uniform can be obtained.
What is the grace period time for new students to get there uniform?
The grace period for new students to comply with the dress code at InSpira Performing Arts & Cultural Center is 3 weeks from the start of their classes. During this time, students are allowed to attend classes in the closest alternative attire until they can obtain the proper uniform. This grace period is intended to provide flexibility for new students and their families to acquire the required dancewear without missing out on initial classes.
Can I wear My Dance shoes outside?
Answer: No!
We highly recommend that you do not wear your dance shoes outside. Here are several important reasons why:
Sanitary and Cleanliness: Bringing outside elements like dirt, rocks, or gum into the studio can compromise the cleanliness and safety of the dance environment. These items can end up on the studio floor and potentially hurt dancers.
Shoe Integrity: Using your dance shoes outside can ruin the shoe soles, especially on ballet and tap shoes, causing them to wear out more quickly. This will result in the need to replace your shoes more frequently, adding unnecessary expense.
For these reasons, it is important that all dance shoes be designated strictly for studio use and not for other activities, especially outside.
