CLASS TYPE
Performance/Technique (PT) Classes
Our Performance/Technique (PT) classes provide a balanced approach that includes both technique instruction and performance opportunities. In the first semester, students will focus on learning technique and choreography in the form of small combinations. During the latter half of the year, while technique continues to be emphasized, dance teachers will guide students in learning and perfecting their final performance piece, which will be showcased at the end-of-year recital. This class type offers a well-rounded dance education with the excitement of a final performance.
Technique (T) Classes
Technique (T) classes are designed for students who wish to focus strictly on the technical aspects of their chosen discipline. These classes emphasize skill development, precision, and mastery of movements without the pressure of preparing for a performance. They are ideal for dancers aiming to refine their technique and enhance their overall proficiency.
Open (O) Classes
Open (O) classes are typically one-hour sessions that are especially popular among adult dancers. These classes provide a low-commitment, high-energy workout that is both fun and invigorating. Open classes do not require participation in a recital, making them perfect for those who want to enjoy dancing without the pressure of a performance. These sessions are designed to offer a great workout and an enjoyable experience in a supportive and welcoming environment.
